Faced with continued bad weather, prolonged heavy rain and a very high risk of landslides in Hung Son commune, the Da Nang City Military Command strictly maintained the duty regime, mobilized maximum on-site forces, and continued to direct the expansion of the scope of evacuation of people from dangerous areas, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.
According to a quick report at the Department of Site Command, the forces of Military Region 5, the City Military Command, the Provincial Military Command 2 - Thanh My, the militia of Hung Son commune, Ga Ry Border Guard Station, the Commune Police... are actively mobilizing to high-risk locations to support the evacuation of people.
Currently, the forces have deployed the evacuation of 56 households/197 people in Dading village to safe areas.

Accordingly, Ga Ry Boarding Primary School, headquarters of the People's Committee of the commune and the Military Command of the old Ga Ry commune: 36 households/125 people.
Returning to inter- residence with households in safe areas: 20 households/72 people.
In parallel with the relocation work, forces continue to inspect and review old and new landslides, arrange forces to block people from returning to dangerous areas; prepare additional evacuation plans for areas that are likely to continue to collapse due to weak soil and prolonged heavy rain.
The City Military Command requested the 2nd - Thanh My Championship and units stationed in the area to strictly maintain 24/7 duty forces, promptly report weather developments and landslides; and at the same time prepare enough vehicles and logistics to be ready to mobilize when there are new situations.
In the context of continuous rain, dense fog, and cutting roads, the City Military Command emphasized the top goal of ensuring absolute safety for the people, not leaving people without shortage of housing, food - necessities; at the same time, continuing to coordinate with the police and border guards to maintain security and order in densely populated areas.
