Reflecting to the local authorities at the regular citizen reception of the Chairman of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee recently, representatives of households living in apartment building K15 Pham Hong Thai expressed concern about the serious degradation of the building.
According to residents, this collective housing area is currently heavily damaged, posing a very high risk of collapse and fire, especially during the hot season or when storms and floods come. Notably, many families here have difficult economic circumstances, not having enough financial capacity to renovate or rebuild their houses to ensure safety.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (resident at No. 15 Pham Hong Thai) shared that recently many functional agencies and press units have come to survey and record the dilapidated situation of the building. People hope that the government will soon publicize the results of the review in writing and clarify the handling direction.
Agreeing with this view, Ms. Pham Thi Yen (resident at K15/201 Pham Hong Thai) and Mr. Ngo Dung expressed their earnest wish to be relocated and cleared to protect the lives of family members. In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Doan Trang (resident at K15/203 Pham Hong Thai) also proposed that the Ward People's Committee pay attention to and support arranging suitable business locations so that she can continue to make a living after changing her residence.

After listening to the thoughts and aspirations of the people and reports from specialized departments, Mr. Nguyen Van Duy - Chairman of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee issued specific instructions to resolve the case.
Accordingly, the Ward People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Social Affairs to review national standards on educational orientation for Trung Vuong Secondary School. This will be the legal basis to propose a plan to expand this school to the surrounding area.
At the same time, the Ward Police coordinated with the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department (KTHTĐT) to conduct a review and grasp the population movements at the K15 Pham Hong Thai collective area. After having the review results, the KTHTĐT department is responsible for advising on documents to submit to competent authorities to request policy approval to expand Trung Vuong Secondary School and carry out steps to adjust the zoning plan according to legal regulations.
To ensure immediate safety for people during the rainy and storm season, the leaders of the Ward People's Committee directed the KTHTĐT department to immediately include the K15 Pham Hong Thai area in the local disaster prevention and control plan, proactively implementing population relocation immediately when an emergency situation appears (situation 1).
The Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board is also assigned the task of working in writing with the Pham Hong Thai road construction unit, requesting measures to minimize the impact and shock on the already weak structure of this collective area.
Leaders of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee requested specialized departments to urgently implement the task, and soon have specific results to thoroughly resolve legitimate petitions, helping people in the K15 Pham Hong Thai collective area to feel secure in living.
