Da Nang launches Action Month for Food Safety 2026, focusing on tightening management of food services and street food.

On the morning of April 15, Da Nang City People's Committee organized the Launching Ceremony of the Action Month for Food Safety 2026 with the theme "Joining hands to ensure food safety in food services, street food, night markets and concentrated food areas".

To effectively implement the Action Month, create substantive and effective changes in food safety assurance work, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi - Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee requested departments, agencies, branches, and localities to continue to strictly implement state management responsibilities, strengthen inspection, examination, supervision, and strictly handle violations.

At the same time, proactively identify and control risks, prevent food poisoning, and ensure safety for people and tourists in all situations.

For food production, processing, and business establishments, city leaders require raising awareness of law compliance and business ethics.

Determining that ensuring food safety is not only a legal obligation but also a responsibility to society and one's own reputation. Absolutely do not trade off the health of the community for immediate benefits.

Information and communication agencies continue to accompany the city government in propaganda and raising social awareness.
