The Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the People's Committees of districts to organize the installation of QR Codes introducing street name information for all street name sign posts in the districts (including the locations of street name sign posts on routes managed by the Department of Transport and routes that have not been handed over for management, use, operation and exploitation by investors; in order to proactively integrate necessary information for propaganda according to the needs of each district.
Regarding the form, installation location and content displayed when scanning the QR Code, the People's Committees of districts are required to follow the contents deployed by the People's Committee of Son Tra district to synchronize throughout the city.
Assign the People's Committees of districts and towns to be responsible for reviewing street name signs in the area, developing plans for annual implementation; in which priority is given to major roads, main roads, tourist roads... and working with the Department of Finance on implementation funding.
The Department of Culture and Sports reviews and synthesizes information and projects related to named routes and proactively provides them to the People's Committees of districts to facilitate implementation.
Son Tra District People's Committee transfers the built software (to serve the management, storage of information about street names, adjustment of information to be displayed when scanning QR Code as well as statistics on the number of people participating in scanning QR Code to serve statistical work, reporting when necessary) to the People's Committees of other districts for reference, to build similar software to serve future management work.
The Department of Transport coordinates with the People's Committees of districts and the Department of Culture and Sports in implementing the installation of QR Codes to introduce street name information on street name signs.
