On the afternoon of January 17, Da Nang organized the Forum of Friendship and Cooperation Cities - Da Nang 2025 online and in person with nearly 500 domestic and foreign partners.
This is a special occasion for Da Nang to review the achievements on the bilateral and multilateral cooperation map that the city has achieved. At the same time, it will expand and strengthen international cooperation in important areas such as innovation, smart city development, high technology, urban planning, and sustainable tourism.
Speaking at the forum, Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City said: "In the context of deep international integration, Da Nang always opens its doors to welcome localities and international partners, strengthening friendship with localities. Expanding the international cooperation map, exploiting potential together, aiming for sustainable development, narrowing geographical distances and connecting the community."
According to Mr. Le Trung Chinh, the Forum of Friendship and Cooperation Cities - Da Nang 2025 with the theme of Convergence and Spread includes many activities that have been and are taking place enthusiastically such as bilateral meetings, seminars on International cooperation to promote business investment taking advantage of new trends and International cooperation to promote tourism development, field visits and local cultural experiences in Da Nang.
The activities continued from January 16 to 18 with the participation of Ambassadors and Consuls General of countries in Vietnam; Governors, Provincial Governors and Leaders from more than 50 foreign localities.
