Da Nang opens direct bus route from the center to Cua Dai, Tam Ky

Da Nang - Bus route No. 2 to Cua Dai and route No. 21 to Tam Ky Bridge will be operated from July 18, after merging existing routes.

On July 17, the City Department of Construction said that it agreed with the proposal of the Smart Traffic Operation Center on merging bus routes No. 2 and LK02 into bus route No. 2 from the City Central Bus Station to Cua Dai (Hoi An Dong Ward) and vice versa; merging bus routes No. 21 and LK21 into bus route No. 21 from the City Central Bus Station to Tam Ky Bridge (Huong Tra Ward) and vice versa.

Bus route No. 2 is 46.7km long; departing from the City Central Bus Station through Nam Tran, Ly Thai Tong, Nguyen Tat Thanh, 3/2 Street, Tran Phu (Da Nang City Administrative Center), Nguyen Van Linh, 2/9 Street, Tien Son Bridge, Le Van Hien, Tran Dai Nghia, DT 609, DT 609, Hoi An City (old) via Nguyen Tat Thanh, Hoi An Bus Station, Ly Thuong Kiet, Tran Nhan Tong, Cua Dai, Au Co, Cua Dai Inland Waterway Parking lot. The afternoon came back.

Bus route No. 21 is 77.2km long, departing from the City Central Bus Station through Ton Duc Thang, the overpass at Hue intersection, Dien Bien Phu, Nguyen Duc Trung, Tran Cao Van, Dong Da, Ly Tu Trong, Tran Phu (Da Nang City Administrative Center), Nguyen Van Linh, 2nd Avenue, August Revolution, Ong Ich Duong, Cam Le bridge, Pham Hung, National Highway 1, old Huong An bridge... connecting Tam Ky bus station through Phan Boi Chau - Phan Chau Trinh - Tam Ky bridge. In addition to merging bus routes, the Department of Construction has adjusted part of the route of bus routes No. 2 and No. 21 passing through the city center, adding large-sized vehicles (B55 buses) to increase service during peak hours, increase service frequency during peak hours (5 minutes/trip for Tam Ky route, 20 minutes/trip for Cua Dai route), arrange stops near the Park & Ride parking area to help people combine parking personal vehicles to switch to using bus services.

Depending on the route distance, ticket prices range from 8,000 VND to 48,000 VND for regular customers, from 6,000 VND to 36,000 VND for officials, civil servants and public employees. Students are priced at 8,000 VND.

For monthly tickets, route 2 sells tickets at 700,000 VND/month for regular passengers; 490,000 VND/month for officials, civil servants, and public employees.

Route 21 sells tickets at 850,000 VND/month for regular passengers; 600,000 VND/month for cadres, civil servants and public employees.

Students, students, the elderly aged 60 and over, People who are receiving policies for war invalids, sick soldiers under 81% of disabled people, and people with disabilities (heavy, light) are eligible to buy monthly tickets according to the two routes above, which are 300,000 VND and 400,000 VND.

Children under 6 years old, people with severe disabilities, veteran revolutionary cadres; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; war invalids and sick soldiers with a disability rate of 81%; resistance fighters infected with occupational toxic chemicals of 81% or more; Armed Forces Heroes; Labor Heroes; Fathers, mothers, wives and children of martyrs are exempted from tickets.
