The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City has just extended the city logo design contest until the end of June 10, 2026, and at the same time sharply increased the prize level to create attraction for authors and professional author groups.
The most notable point is that the first prize was increased from 150 million VND to 500 million VND, accompanied by a certificate from the Organizing Committee. Four consolation prizes also increased to 20 million VND each. In case the official option cannot be selected, 5 works entering the final round will still be supported with 20 million VND/piece.

According to the Organizing Committee, the contest aims to build an official symbol for Da Nang, serving propaganda and promotion of the city's image domestically and internationally, and at the same time contributing to positioning the urban brand.
Entries must ensure original creativity, have never been published, distributed, used or participated in any other contest; must not be exploited for commercial purposes during the contest and must fully comply with regulations on copyright.
Regarding creative orientation, the logo needs to reflect Da Nang's core values of dynamism, affection, creativity, integration and aspiration to rise up; and at the same time be associated with the goal of building the city into an economic, cultural, tourism, logistics, innovation and smart city center of the region in the future.
