This is an activity to celebrate the election day of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
The exhibition space is organized at two facilities of the Da Nang Library, including locations at No. 46 Bach Dang Street, Hai Chau Ward and No. 283 Phan Boi Chau Street, Ban Thach Ward. Here, more than 3,500 books along with many paintings, photos, and documents are introduced to readers.
The documents focus on reflecting the formation and development of the National Assembly of Vietnam through historical periods. The exhibition also introduces the Constitution and legal regulations on elections; outstanding achievements of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels through various terms. A separate topic on President Ho Chi Minh with the election and General Election in 1946 is also introduced in the program.
In addition to display activities, the Da Nang Library compiles and publishes a thematic bibliography "Towards the 16th National Assembly Election Day and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term". The book stacking model with more than 2,000 copies is displayed, helping readers conveniently access documents related to the National Assembly and citizens' voting rights.
During the program, the library organizes book introductions with the theme "Voting rights - From page to page to practice", screening historical documentary films and consulting on library services. Readers are guided to register and receive free library cards.
The activity aims to propagate the meaning and importance of the election; contributing to raising awareness of cadres, party members and people of all strata about the rights and obligations of citizens in building a rule-of-law state.
