Lao Dong Newspaper reported that the devastating flash flood in Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district (Lao Cai) buried Lang Nu village with 128 people. Immediately after receiving the information, local leaders mobilized cadres, soldiers and people to promptly rescue the injured. Authorities mobilized necessary means to overcome the consequences of the flash flood and clear the road to Lang Nu.
According to information from the Vietnam Road Administration, National Highway 70 has now been opened to traffic, ensuring that rescue vehicles and medical forces from Lao Cai can travel to Pho Giang (on National Highway 70) to continue moving to Lang Nu village (on local roads).

At 2:17 a.m. on September 11, 2024, Station LCI0156-11 successfully broadcast, ensuring communication and serving rescue work at the most serious landslide point in Lao Cai province.
