In the afternoon of July 19, the Command of Defense Region 3 received a report about a person drowning and missing in the sea area, Ha Long 1 area, Van Don special zone.
Immediately after that, the unit mobilized forces and coordinated to organize the search for the victim.
After many hours of searching efforts, at 7:50 am on July 20, functional forces found the victim's body.
The victim is P.D.C, born in 2003, from Nam Dinh province (old) is a student majoring in electrical engineering, and is on an internship. Before the incident, the victim went swimming with classmates.
Functional forces brought the victim ashore, carried out procedures according to regulations and coordinated to support the family in organizing the funeral.
