On January 3rd, Moc Chau Dairy Cow Breeding Joint Stock Company in coordination with Thao Nguyen Ward People's Committee organized the Miss Dairy Cow Contest - a unique and unique contest, held for the 18th time, with the theme "Pure and pure beauty".


40 "milk cows", the most outstanding, were carefully selected from 10 farming units and the Breeding and Technical Transfer Center. These are all purebred Holstein Friesian dairy cows, with beautiful appearance, healthy physique, high milk yield and outstanding growth indicators.
The "milk cows" participate in competitions in categories including: milk squeezing, care, makeup and performance. The judges score based on overall appearance, body indicators, breasts, milk production and fertility.


At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the crown of Miss Milk Cow Moc Chau 2026 to "milk cow" with registration number HF215505 of household owner Tran Van Da, unit 19.5; 1st runner-up belonged to "milk cow" with registration number HF225512 of household owner Tran Thi Ha, unit Sao Do; 2nd runner-up belonged to "milk cow" with registration number HF217265 of household owner Pham Van Duong, unit 26.7 along with First, Second, Third, and Consolation prizes. The total prize value is more than 160 million VND.

Mr. Pham Hai Nam, General Director of Moc Chau Dairy Cow Breeding Joint Stock Company, said that to participate in the contest, livestock households were detailedly guided from nutrition, nail care, dairy hygiene to getting acquainted with crowded environments, in order to help cows achieve the best performance when competing.
Within the framework of the event, there are also many activities such as displaying and trying milk products; the space of the ancient Moc Chau farm; photo exhibition; video creation contest "Thao Nguyen - My Story"; art program "The Voice of the Farmer" and activities for students and tourists.


Ms. Le Hong Hanh (a tourist from Hanoi) shared that for the first time participating in the Miss Dairy Cow Contest, she was impressed with the professional organization, thereby helping tourists better understand the dairy farming profession and Moc Chau plateau culture.



Mr. Nguyen Thanh Van, Chairman of Thao Nguyen Ward People's Committee emphasized that the contest not only honors farmers but also contributes to promoting dairy products, linking agricultural development with tourism, spreading the image of the prairie land and the aspiration to reach out of the Moc Chau milk brand.
