On June 29, the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee informed that the locality is completing final preparations to organize a ceremony to announce the resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units on June 30.
The ceremony will be solemnly and methodically titled, bearing the mark and identity of the province with the participation of many delegates from the central to local levels.

According to the Traffic Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police, the unit will deploy about 70 officers and soldiers to checkpoint on a number of routes leading to 10/3 Square. Thereby, ensuring traffic order and safety throughout the time of this important ceremony.


Tonight, June 29, at 10.3 Square (Dak Lak province), there will be many performances by artists from the Dak Lak Provincial Song and Dance Group and artists from the Sao Bien Phu Yen Folk Music and Dance Theater to serve the people.

The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has displayed many cultural heritages of Dak Lak and Phu Yen localities with the theme of Forest and Sea Song. Among them, there are collections such as the Thac Hai stone drill (National Treasure), gongs, unique boats...

After merging with Phu Yen, the new Dak Lak province has an area of over 18,000 km2. The total local population is more than 3 million people with 102 newly established communes and wards. The administrative center is located in the current Dak Lak province.
