Dak Lak proposes to support 103 part-time commune police officers after finishing their duties

Dak Lak - The competent authority proposed to support the termination of employment for the part-time commune police force that ends its mission after completing the entire apparatus.

On June 24, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021-2026, opened its 10th session.

At the meeting, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee submitted to the Provincial People's Council a draft Resolution on supporting the termination of employment for the part-time commune police force who have completed their tasks, after completing the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.

From July 1, 2024, the part-time commune police force, along with the civil defense force, the civil defense team leader... will be arranged, consolidated, and unified into a common force to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.

However, the reorganization process has resulted in 11 cases of redundant part-time commune police. There are still 92 cases who do not wish to continue participating in the new force.

Of these, 35 people have worked in the part-time commune police force for over 15 years, and 49 people have worked for from 3 years to less than 15 years.

Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Colonel Y San Adrong - Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police - said: "These cases all have a long working process, actively contributing to ensuring security and order at the grassroots level. Therefore, there is a great need for attention, support, and encouragement when they finish their mission and resign.

According to Colonel Y San Adrong, it is very necessary to issue a resolution to support the termination of employment for the part-time commune police force. Thereby, helping to ensure the regime, policies, and benefits, while encouraging and improving the lives of this force.

For part-time commune police with a continuous working period of 15 years or more, they are expected to receive one-time severance pay. For each year of work, the subject is supported with 1/2 month of allowance corresponding to the allowance for work assigned at the time of work, the maximum support level is not more than 12 months of allowance

For part-time commune police with a continuous working period of 3 years (36 months) to less than 15 years, they will receive one-time severance support. For each year of work, the subject is supported with 1/3 of the allowance corresponding to the allowance for work assigned at the time of work, the maximum support level is not more than 12 months of allowance. The total implementation cost is 582,900,000 VND, guaranteed by the provincial budget.
