Dak Lak establishes 6 teams to review dossiers of officials resigning under Decree 178

Dak Lak - Provincial functional agencies have established 6 working groups to review dossiers of officials retiring according to Decree 178.

On September 8, the Department of Home Affairs of Dak Lak province officially established 6 groups to review dossiers of cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees who have been resolved policies according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP, amended and supplemented by Decree 67/2025/ND-CP.

According to the decision, 6 working groups started reviewing from September 8 and must complete all work before 11 am on September 11. The key task is to comprehensively inspect the dossiers of cases that have been advised by the Provincial People's Committee to issue decisions on dismissal; in which focus on clarifying the subjects, conditions, order, procedures and legal basis for resolving policies.

The entire dossier will be compared with the Government's regulations, guidance from specialized agencies and the actual records of each individual.

For cases that are identified as not being resolved to the right subjects or not meeting the conditions, working groups are responsible for summarizing and reporting to the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs to advise on handling plans.

Previously, the State Audit of Vietnam pointed out some inadequacies in the process of implementing the policy of arranging and streamlining the apparatus in Dak Lak.

Specifically, the locality has considered and approved 3,387 cases of early retirement and resignation, 1,528 cases higher than the expected number in the initial project of the Provincial People's Committee.

Notably, the State Audit discovered 45 cases of dismissal resolved on the grounds of "not meeting task requirements or job position standards". However, in the previous 3 consecutive years, these people were all assessed as "completing tasks well". Policy settlement for these cases is considered not to be in accordance with the guidance of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

There were 19 cases resolved for dismissal on the grounds of inadequate health, but the dossiers did not have complete medical documents and professional basis to prove it.

The establishment of 6 working groups aims to review dossiers, clarify cases of improper implementation and promptly advise on handling plans according to regulations.
