Dak Nong - Dak Nong Traffic Police launched a campaign to stop 2 groups of teenagers from illegally gathering to race, even making their own flags to award prizes.

On April 30, the Traffic Police Department of Dak Nong Provincial Police successfully blocked 2 groups of 20 young men (14-18 years old) from gathering to prepare for illegal racing in Dak R'lap district on April 30.

This drastic action shows the proactiveness of the police force in ensuring security, order and traffic safety for people during the holiday.

According to information from the police, through the work of grasping the situation, Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 discovered 2 groups of teenagers meeting on social networks to gather on deserted roads in Dak R'lap district.

These subjects prepare to organize illegal racing, endangering traffic participants and affecting local security and order.

Immediately, the Traffic Police Department of Dak Nong Province mobilized forces, synchronously deployed professional measures to intercept and prevent the area.

The authorities have summarized 2 groups of young people and stopped checking 20 cases of people gathering to prepare for racing.

At the scene, the subjects confessed that they were preparing to organize a race and had prepared flags to award prizes to the runners.

The authorities have seized many flags with printed words expressing the spirit: Connecting passion for speed.

As a result, the authorities have drawn up 37 violation records for various violations, temporarily detained 20 vehicles and imposed estimated fines of over 320 million VND.

Notably, a homemade motorbike with a fake license plate was also discovered and handled for 45 million VND.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tam - Deputy Captain of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 said that to successfully prevent these racing groups, the police force had to be on duty, ambush and mobilize the masses to provide information.
