Dak Nong estimates that the total state budget revenue in 2024 will be 2,950 billion VND. Thus, this is the second year that the province has a budget deficit according to the local budget estimate.

Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi has just agreed to estimate the total state budget revenue in the province in 2024 at VND 2,950 billion, reaching 100% of the central budget estimate and 89% of the local budget estimate.

Chairman of Dak Nong province Ho Van Muoi requested departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts and cities to strive to complete the State budget collection assigned by the Provincial People's Council.

Previously, Dak Nong set a target of collecting 3,300 billion VND for the provincial budget. To achieve this target, right from the beginning of the year, the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee directed strongly, removed difficulties, to implement the set state budget collection plan.

Regarding budget revenue, at the conference to evaluate the socio-economic situation in the first 9 months of 2024, Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that the failure to collect land use fees affects budget revenue.

Localities must review and balance their revenues and expenditures. The Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee emphasized that each unit must be determined and resolute in its efforts to achieve the highest revenue results. If budget revenue is not achieved, many other areas will be greatly affected.

Regarding the State budget revenue estimate for 2025, the Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee agreed to build it according to the targets assigned by the Central Government; at the same time, assigned Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen to chair a meeting with relevant departments, branches and localities to assess and determine the land use fee collection level appropriate to the actual situation.

Previously, in 2023, Dak Nong province also suffered a deficit in the state budget. The total state budget revenue in the area in 2023 was VND 3,067 billion, reaching 98% of the central estimate and 84% of the local estimate.

This result decreased by 12% compared to the same period last year (about 402 billion VND compared to 2022).
