Dak Nong handles 8,773 traffic violations, fines over 21 billion VND

Dak Nong - Since the beginning of the year, the Traffic Police have detected and handled 8,773 violations with a total amount of more than 21 billion VND.

According to the Dak Nong Provincial Traffic Police Department, from the beginning of 2025 to now, the unit has increased patrols, controlled and strictly handled traffic violations.

The authorities focus on handling major errors that can easily lead to accidents such as speeding, violating alcohol concentration, overtaking vehicles in violation of regulations, driving on the wrong side of the road, carrying overloaded goods and extending the vehicle body.

As of June 15, 2025, the whole province has organized 1,440 patrols, detected and handled 8,773 violations, collecting more than 21.6 billion VND to the budget.

Traffic police have deducted driving license points from 1,270 cases, revoked 186 licenses and temporarily detained 1,881 vehicles.

Of which, there were 1,413 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 4,469 cases of speeding and 159 cases of overloaded goods.
