Accordingly, at about 11:52 pm on January 17, the Command Information Center of Hanoi City Police received a fire report at a combined business house in alley 339 - Minh Khai, Vinh Tuy ward.
Upon receiving the news, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center dispatched 4 fire trucks and many officers and soldiers to the scene to quickly deploy fire fighting and CNCH.
Through reconnaissance, it was discovered that the fire was developing strongly in the attic area of the 1st floor, with 1 resident trapped on the 4th floor.
Immediately, officers and soldiers used rescue ladders to approach the 3rd floor of the house and brought the victim to a safe location. At the same time, they deployed a formation to completely extinguish the fire.
Through the arrangement of the Fire and Rescue Team of area No. 9 from 51 Lang Yen (outside the Red River dike) to be on duty at No. 39 Luong Yen, the distance to the fire has been reduced from 3.6 km to 2.8 km, reducing the time to the fire from 7 minutes to 4 minutes, helping the Fire and Rescue Police force quickly access the scene, promptly organize rescue of victims and effectively extinguish the fire.
In the coming time, the City Police Department's Board of Directors will continue to direct the Fire and Rescue Police Department to advise and propose expanding the standing position, arranging forces and vehicles to continue reducing the protection radius, taking advantage of "5 golden minutes" in fire fighting and rescue work.
