According to information from Road Management Office I.1 (Vietnam Road Administration), at about 2:30 p.m. on September 22, at Km 200+950 National Highway 6 (in Chieng Hac commune, Moc Chau district), a landslide occurred, crushing 2 cars (1 truck and 1 car) moving on the road.
At the scene, two vehicles were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
In addition, the large amount of landslides combined with heavy rain caused traffic congestion in the area.
Immediately after the incident, road management units and traffic police were present at the scene, restricting traffic and clearing the area to ensure traffic safety.
By 3:00 p.m. the same day, all landslides on National Highway 6 (including the previous landslide at Km203) through Chieng Hac commune were open to traffic.
The road management agency recommends that at this time the risk of landslides on National Highway 6 is very high, so vehicles need to pay attention when traveling on the road to avoid unfortunate incidents.
