On September 21, according to PV's investigation, recently, the Property Auction Service Center (Department of Justice of Lang Son province) announced the auction of 2,376 bottles of Remy Martin wine (7th time) - confiscated and contributed to the public fund.
The total starting price for the wine lot is 1.71 billion VND. The auction is conducted according to the simplified procedure prescribed in the Law on Property Auction.
Participants must buy documents (200,000 VND/setter), pay a deposit of 340 million VND and must have a alcohol business license (if individuals or business organizations).
Those who do not have the capacity to act civil, those directly involved in the auction or property valuation process will not be allowed to participate.
The auction was conducted directly, with many closed votes, and a minimum bid of 1 million VND was paid. The highest bidder, after being reminded 3 times without anyone paying higher, will win the auction. If more people pay the same highest price, they will continue to auction or draw.
The regulations also clearly stipulate sanctions: violators (not attending, colluding to lower prices, causing disorder, refusing to sign the minutes or the auction results...) will lose the entire deposit of 340 million VND, this amount will be paid to the state budget after deducting expenses.
This auction of a high-end foreign wine lot not only ensures publicity and transparency in handling exhibits, but also contributes to increasing revenue for the budget.
