As Lao Dong newspaper has reported, the project "Road from Thuy Van Industrial Park to the connecting road Nguyen Tat Thanh - Ton Duc Thang, former Viet Tri city" has a total investment of nearly 450 billion VND.
The project was started construction from the end of May 2025, after Package No. 13: Construction and installation of the project completed the contractor selection (winning bid price of nearly 335 billion VND).

Recorded by Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in early August 2026, the road built is more than 4.5km long, passing through fields and residential areas of Nong Trang ward and Hy Cuong commune.
In particular, the road has its starting point at the intersection with Truong Chinh street in Thuy Van Industrial Park, helping to open the way for the southern area of this industrial park.

The construction contractor is carrying out the work of excavating and reclaiming the roadbed, building a drainage system on the route...
In the future, another large transportation project will be invested and built to increase connectivity with Thuy Van industrial park, connecting with the road under construction of the above project.

According to the reporter's investigation, Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee recently issued Decision No. 2490, approving the project "Road connecting Thuy Van Industrial Park to National Highway 32C (section from Hy Cuong commune to Lam Thao commune).
This project has a total investment of more than 215 billion VND from revenue exceeding the provincial budget in 2025 and medium-term public investment capital of the provincial budget for the period 2026 - 2030. Of which, compensation, support and resettlement costs are nearly 81.5 billion VND; construction costs are more than 92 billion VND.
The road being built has its starting point at the intersection between Thuy Van - Chu Hoa road and the project road mentioned at the beginning; the ending point intersects with the current Ngoc Hoa road.

The road is designed according to regional main road standards, design speed of 50km/h; roadbed width 27m, road surface width 15m, sidewalks on each side 6m wide (only sidewalks are made for sections passing through densely populated areas).
Mr. Ha Xuan Hanh - a resident of Hy Cuong commune - shared: "The new road just approved by the province connecting to the road under construction will form an important traffic axis, helping many workers in the old Hung Son town area (now Lam Thao commune) and surrounding areas to go straight to Thuy Van Industrial Park".
The goal of the project is to gradually complete and synchronize transport infrastructure according to the transport development plan in the Phu Tho Provincial Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

Along with that, renovate and upgrade the transport infrastructure of communes in the project area, shorten travel time and connect traffic between Lam Thao commune and the central wards of Viet Tri city in the past. Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of life of people, meeting transportation needs in the area, thereby reducing transportation costs, reducing environmental pollution, and improving production efficiency, especially in agriculture, forestry, trade, and services.
In particular, the road opens up a new development space for communes within the project scope, thereby attracting investment sources in society, contributing to increasing revenue for the local budget; creating jobs for local workers.
