The Project to Invest in the Construction of the Headquarters of the Administrative - Political Center of Muong Thang commune (Phu Tho province) was approved according to Decision No. 09/QD-UBND dated January 6, 2026 of the People's Committee of Muong Thang commune.
This project belongs to Group C, with a total investment of 37 billion VND, and the Muong Thang Commune Project Management Board is assigned to be the project investor.
According to the reporter's investigation, on January 6, 2026, the Muong Thang Commune Project Management Board issued a notice inviting bids for the Construction package of the project.
The above-mentioned construction package is worth more than 27.4 billion VND from the old Hoa Binh provincial budget capital supplemented with a target (before the merger) - allocated for 2 projects: the old Nam Phong Commune People's Committee headquarters and the old Dung Phong Commune People's Committee headquarters; provincial budget support and commune budget capital.
According to the technical requirements in the bidding documents, the construction package of the project has a scope of work including:
Demolish old and degraded gates and fences to take construction ground and redesign gates and fences to be synchronized with the architecture of the project.
Building a 4-story office building, 1 attic, with a total floor area of about 3450m2, with a load-bearing reinforced concrete frame structure; electricity, water, lightning protection, fire prevention and fighting systems... are built synchronously.
The objective of the project to invest in building the headquarters of the Muong Thang Commune Administrative - Political Center is to ensure facilities to serve the activities of the local government according to the 2-level model; meeting the requirements of state management, administrative reform and serving the people in the area.
Muong Thang commune was established under Resolution No. 1676/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of 4 communes, including: Nam Phong, Tay Phong, Dung Phong and Thach Yen belonging to Cao Phong district, former Hoa Binh province.
After arrangement, Muong Thang commune has a natural area of 91.579 km2, with a population of more than 19,800 people. Muong Thang is a commune with diverse terrain, fertile land, favorable for agricultural development, especially citrus fruit cultivation, forestry and animal husbandry.
At the same time, this place also preserves many unique traditional cultural values of the Muong ethnic people, typically Muong gongs, folk songs, and traditional festivals.
