The Van Ho District General Hospital project is invested by the People's Committee of Van Ho District; the Van Ho District Investment and Construction Project Management Board is the investor's representative; and Thang Long Construction Company Limited is the construction contractor.
The project area covers nearly 5 hectares, reclaiming land from 62 households in Suoi Lin village, Van Ho commune, with a total compensation and site clearance cost of more than 10 billion 887 million VND.
On October 26, according to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the construction of Van Ho General Hospital has gradually been completed, with dozens of workers and machines in operation.
Mr. Bui Van Keo (a resident of Van Ho commune) shared: Before, we had to travel about 15km to the hospital in Moc Chau district to see a doctor, which was very difficult to travel.
According to Mr. Keo, since the Van Ho District General Hospital project was implemented, local people have been very happy and excited because the distance when going to see a doctor or getting medical treatment has been significantly shortened, especially in remote communes, remote areas, and the lower districts bordering the Da River.
Speaking with reporters, Mr. Nguyen The Phuong - Chairman of Van Ho District People's Committee said that the project will be under construction from October 30, 2023.
The locality has directed the contractor to focus on human and material resources, overcome difficulties in terrain and weather; develop detailed plans, organize many construction options, and work overtime to speed up the progress of the project with committed completion time.
Currently, the project has completed over 80% of the volume and is in the finishing stage.
According to Mr. Phuong, the hospital project is a key project of the district, which is given priority in direction and implementation. The locality has focused on urging and speeding up the project's progress, meeting the people's needs for medical examination and treatment.
