On the morning of October 9, the Hanoi People's Committee held an inauguration ceremony and installed a signboard for the Hanoi Children's Hospital.
The Hanoi Children's Hospital construction project has been identified by the city as one of the key projects of Hanoi City invested in the period of 2020 - 2025 with the goal of building a high-quality pediatric hospital with advanced and specialized technology. After nearly 2 years of preparation and construction, the project was completed and put into use on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuong - Deputy Director of the Hanoi City Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board, representing the investor, said that the Hanoi Children's Hospital (Nguyen Trac - Yen Nghia - Ha Dong - Hanoi) Phase I construction investment project has been approved by the Hanoi City People's Committee with a total investment of 784,433 billion VND; the project implementation period is from 2021-2024. The project is on the list of key projects of the city in the period of 2021-2025.
Hanoi Children's Hospital has a scale of 200 beds, has 24 departments, including 8 functional departments and 16 specialized departments: 11 clinical departments and 5 paraclinical departments. It is expected to meet all specialized needs in the field of pediatrics, from internal medicine to surgery.
In addition, the hospital is also equipped with modern medical equipment to serve the medical examination and treatment needs of the capital's people. Digital transformation is also carried out in all stages from operational management to medical examination and treatment. Typically, the application of electronic medical records, digital signatures and the application of artificial intelligence in medical examination and treatment.
Patients can register for an automatic examination right at the main lobby of the hospital or make an appointment through the hospital's website, Fanpage and application, to increase convenience for patients.

At the ceremony, Ms. Vu Thu Ha, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee emphasized: "In order for Hanoi Children's Hospital to become a leading pediatric hospital at the end of the line, ensuring the care, protection and improvement of health for children in Hanoi and neighboring provinces, the City People's Committee requests units and the Hanoi Department of Health to proactively coordinate with related units to continue directing the Children's Hospital to complete its organizational structure, supplement human resources and equipment, serve medical examination and treatment, direct the line, conduct scientific research and training, research and develop specialized technical services at the forefront, receive and master advanced medical technical services in the world...".
At the same time, the Department of Health continues to research and review the medical examination and treatment needs of local people, promptly advise and propose investment in phase 2 so that Hanoi Children's Hospital can reach 500 beds, worthy of being the leading pediatric hospital in the capital, of the final level.
The hospital's operation is expected to reduce the load on the National Children's Hospital, better responding to the health care needs of children in the capital, as well as neighboring provinces.
