On July 21, Standing Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Nguyen Long Bien inspected the progress of compensation and site clearance for the Project to build Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital into a hospital in the South Central Coast region.
According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Land Fund Development Center, the project has a total recovered area of about 11.2 hectares, affecting 290 cases, has completed inventory of 142 cases; appraised and approved compensation plans for 1 case.
The Center also coordinates with the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang ward to organize people's meetings to publicize information about projects, compensation policies, support, resettlement and land recovery plans; strengthen inspection of the current status of the area to prevent the situation of land separation and illegal construction after receiving land recovery notices.
However, the implementation process still faces many difficulties when the situation of arbitrarily dividing plots to enjoy compensation policies appears, while some land users do not live in the locality, so contact and information verification are still limited.
Representatives of Nam Nha Trang Ward People's Committee said that the locality is simultaneously implementing site clearance for many key projects, so the workload is very large.
The ward coordinates to issue land acquisition notices, organize investigations, surveys, measurements, inventory and propaganda to help people understand the goals and meaning of the project.
The locality also regularly inspects the current status of the project area to promptly detect and prevent cases of plot separation and illegal construction after receiving land acquisition notices. Receives and resolves people's petitions related to compensation, support and resettlement.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien emphasized that this is a project of particular importance to the development of Khanh Hoa's health sector and is one of the projects belonging to the 90-day peak period of site clearance for key and dynamic projects of the province.
To ensure progress, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien requested the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang ward and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to urgently complete the inventory, verify the origin of the land, appraise and submit for approval the compensation plan.
In particular, review and thoroughly handle cases of arbitrary land subdivision for profit from compensation and support policies, ensuring fairness and compliance with the law.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned departments and branches to soon advise on the policy of applying land prices to calculate compensation and support in the direction of synchronization between this project and key projects in the area.

The project is implemented on an area of about 11.2ha in Nam Nha Trang ward in the period 2025-2030. Component project 1: site clearance project has a total investment of about 200 billion VND.
