On the afternoon of April 1st, the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang ward coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and the Khanh Hoa Land Fund Development Center to organize a meeting with households with land located within the project to build Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital into a hospital in the South Central Coast region.
At the people's meeting, representatives of the Khanh Hoa Land Fund Development Center informed people about the goals and meaning of the project; land recovery plan; inspection, survey, measurement, and inventory work; and at the same time disseminated legal regulations related to compensation, support and resettlement.
Accordingly, the project to build Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital into a hospital in the South Central Coast region has a total investment of 4,450 billion VND from the provincial budget, with a scale of 1,500 beds.
Including 500 high-tech specialized beds at the final line. The project is implemented on an area of about 11.2ha in Nam Nha Trang ward, implemented in the period 2025 - 2030.
The project is divided into two components including: site clearance and hospital construction.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Cao Dinh Trung - Standing Vice Chairman of Nam Nha Trang Ward People's Committee assessed that investing in upgrading Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital into a regional-level hospital will contribute to reducing the burden on central-level hospitals, meeting the high-quality medical examination and treatment needs of people in the province and the region, towards the goal of sustainable, green, and smart development.
In the process of implementing site clearance, the locality will put the legitimate and lawful rights of the people first.
Compensation and support plans will be built in accordance with regulations, ensuring publicity and transparency; and at the same time, flexibly consider each specific case, especially households in difficult circumstances, to have appropriate support plans.
At the meeting, people raised many opinions related to compensation prices; how to calculate compensation for rice land, perennial crop land, aquaculture land and assets on land; conditions for resettlement arrangement; policies to support house rentals while waiting for the construction of resettlement areas.
People also requested functional agencies to soon provide information on the progress of investigation, survey, measurement, inventory and land recovery time to proactively prepare for site handover.
Most of the opinions were answered by representatives of relevant agencies and units at the meeting. Some remaining contents were recorded, received and will be reported to competent authorities for consideration and handling.
