Traffic infrastructure opens the way for development
The whole province currently has 18 key projects, including 5 transport projects, 1 industrial park, 7 industrial clusters, 4 housing projects and 1 thermal power plant. Of which, three transport projects implemented under the public-private partnership method are attracting attention.
The Ninh Binh - Hai Phong Expressway (CT.08) passing through Hung Yen is 33.3km long, passing through 10 new communes after the merger, with 97% of the site in Hung Yen handed over, creating a foundation for the project to soon enter the construction phase. This project will complete the main expressway, connecting the Northern key economic region.
Along with that, the route from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune connecting Pho Hien ward (Hung Yen) is 24.8km long, with an investment capital of more than VND4,900 billion. When completed, it will shorten travel time between industrial parks, creating a favorable corridor to attract investment.
Another outstanding project is the road along the Red River, started on August 19, with a total capital of nearly VND9,300 billion. This project will both upgrade the transportation network and open up the direction of tourism and real estate development, connecting cultural and spiritual sites such as Thang Long, Pho Hien, Tam Chuc, Bai Dinh, Huong Pagoda, forming a comprehensive tourism axis along the Red River. The appearance of the route also creates momentum for the real estate market, ecological urban areas and resort complexes, helping Hung Yen develop tourism, trade and services at the same time.

Remove obstacles, speed up progress
One of the major challenges is site clearance, especially after the two-level government model, which has caused some processes to be inexistent. The scarce supply of construction materials and fluctuating prices also affect progress.
To remove difficulties, the province has directed departments, branches and localities to closely coordinate, review and promptly handle problems, while focusing on propaganda and mobilizing people to agree with strategic projects. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Than emphasized that completing on schedule not only meets development needs but also demonstrates the political determination and management capacity of the government.
Each department, branch and locality must take action with a high sense of responsibility, determine specific timelines and handling plans for each case. The early handover of the clean site contributes to reducing arising costs and speeding up progress.
With the province's strong direction, the consensus of the people and the urgent spirit of the construction unit, key projects in Hung Yen are expected to be completed on schedule, opening up new development space, creating a solid foundation for breakthroughs in the coming time.
