Recently, many voters in Quang Binh province have been concerned about not receiving the difference when the basic salary has been adjusted to increase from July 1, 2024 to present.
Responding to the above issue, on December 13, information from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) of Quang Binh province said that on July 1, 2024, the Government issued Decree No. 77 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 75 of the Government regulating the levels of benefits, allowances and preferential regimes for people with revolutionary contributions.
The Decree takes effect from July 1, 2024 (the standard level of preferential allowance for meritorious people is adjusted from VND 2,055,000 to VND 2,789,000).
But up to now, Quang Binh province has not been granted additional funding, so it has not yet made adjustments or paid back subsidies and allowances to people with revolutionary contributions according to regulations.
According to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Quang Binh province has more than 19,000 people eligible for this support. The additional amount that the province needs to support is about 130 billion VND. The locality has sent a report and requested the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to provide additional funds to pay for those in need of support.
When the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs provide additional funding, the Department will adjust and pay back allowances and subsidies to the beneficiaries in accordance with regulations.
