Late on November 19, recorded at Km226+500 on Mimosa Pass, on National Highway 20 (Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat), it showed that the entire road surface had broken, completely cut into two parts.
Accordingly, the area where the landslide occurred is estimated to be about 40m wide, about 20m deep and about 100m long. The incident caused the Mimosa Pass connecting Da Lat with Duc Trong to be completely cut in two parts.
At the time of the incident, some vehicles had stopped right in front of the broken abyss. Rescue forces quickly arrived and took the vehicles out of the danger zone.
Regarding this incident, the authorities of Xuan Huong - Da Lat ward and Lam Dong province have urgently arrived at the scene to check, block off and ensure safety measures.
