Information from the Vietnam Road Administration, on the occasion of National Day September 2nd, there are a total of 27 rest stops being operated on the North - South expressway in the East.
Among them, there are 7 rest stops that have been exploited before, including: Hanoi - Bac Giang (2 stations, Km120+200 right of the route, Km145+800 left of the route); Cau Gie - Ninh Binh (1 station, Km227 on both sides), Cao Bo - Mai Son (1 station, Km269+313 left of the route, Km269+410 right of the route), La Son - Hoa Lien (1 station Km1+200 left of the route), Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay (1 station Km41+100 on both sides), Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong (1 station Km28+200 on both sides).
There are 19 rest stops managed by the Ministry of Construction, which are exploited: Mai Son - National Highway 45 (completed entirely); National Highway 45 - Nghi Son; Nghi Son - Dien Chau; Dien Chau - Bai Vot (right side of the route); Ham Nghi - Vung Ang; Vung Ang - Bung; Bung - Van Ninh; Van Ninh - Cam Lo; Cam Lo - La Son; Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Km15; Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Km77 (left side of the route);
Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon; Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh; Van Phong - Nha Trang, Nha Trang - Cam Lam; Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Km205 (full completion); Phan Thiet - Dau Giay; Can Tho - Hau Giang; Hau Giang - Ca Mau.
There is 1 temporary station at Km113 on the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway.
According to the Road Administration, there is 1 stopover on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway.
Thus, on the North-South Expressway in the East until National Day September 2nd, there will be a total of 28 rest stops and bus stops being exploited, on average about 75km with one location serving traffic needs on the expressway.
Also according to the Road Administration, there are 11 stations on sections with gas stations, including: Hanoi - Bac Giang (2 stations), Cau Gie - Ninh Binh, Cao Bo - Mai Son, Mai Son - National Highway 45, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang, Vung Ang - Bung, La Son - Hoa Lien, Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Km205, Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay, Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong.
There are 5 stations on sections with charging stations, including: Cao Bo - Mai Son, Mai Son - National Highway 45, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang, Vung Ang - Bung, Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Km205.
In addition to the above-mentioned rest stops and parking spots, along the expressway there are intersections for expressway entry and exit, there are regional services providing fuel, gasoline, food and beverage..., basically meeting the needs of people and vehicles circulating on the expressway.
