Can Tho City Institute of Economics and Society has just announced the results of measuring the level of satisfaction of people and organizations with the services of state administrative agencies in the city in 2024.

In 2024, the satisfaction index of people in the city will reach 95.44%. The five criteria in the public service system achieved very positive results, with scores ranging from 94. 30% to 95.94%. The two outstanding indicators are "Citizens directly handling work" (95.94%) and "Results of handling administrative procedures" (95.82%) with the highest satisfaction.
The results showed that the department level achieved an overall satisfaction of 94.41%, which was very impressive. The Department of Information and Communications achieved the highest score (98%); followed by the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Culture - Sports - Tourism (96.93%). The lowest satisfaction rate is the Department of Construction, only reaching 89.32%, still quite high but showing that there are many criteria that need improvement.

For the district level, the average score of all districts is 93.53%. This is a high level of satisfaction, showing the positive assessment of the people for public services at the district and county levels. The district/council with the highest satisfaction index is O Mon District People's Committee at 96.73%; The district/council with the lowest satisfaction index is Ninh Kieu District People's Committee at 91.69%.
The average satisfaction index of 83 communes and wards of Can Tho City is 96.04%. The locality with the highest satisfaction rate is the People's Committee of Thanh Tien commune (Vinh Thanh district) with a satisfaction index of 99.93%. The lowest locality is the People's Committee of Bui Huu Nghia ward (Binh Thuy district) with a satisfaction index of 86.20%. There is a significant difference between the highest and lowest localities, up to 13.73%.
