Hanoi City will organize fireworks displays during the New Year holiday of 2026, to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress and to celebrate major holidays of 2026.
This year, Hanoi organizes 5 fireworks display points with 6 locations in 5 wards: Hoan Kiem, Tay Ho, Hai Ba Trung, Tu Liem and Ha Dong, with a quantity of 650 high-altitude fireworks per location.
For the two battlefields at Hoan Kiem Lake alone, each battlefield has 700 fireworks; low-altitude fireworks each battlefield has 60 platforms and many fireworks platforms. Fireworks will be fired 15 minutes before New Year's Eve, lasting until the transition time between the old year and the new year. Especially this year, for the first time, people in the capital can admire fireworks fired from 3 locations located in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake.
On the evening of December 31, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee will organize fireworks displays at 3 locations, including the area at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (An Khanh ward), the new city center (Binh Duong ward) and Tam Thang square (Vung Tau ward).
Lang Son province will organize art fireworks displays within the framework of the art program "Welcoming the New Year 2026" (Countdown to New Year). The program takes place from 10:00 PM on December 31, 2025 to 0:15 AM on January 1, 2026 at Hung Vuong street stage (Luong Van Tri ward).

The fireworks display is expected to last about 15 minutes, from 0:00 AM to 0:15 AM on January 1, 2026 at Lam Son Square.
