Alley 35, 36 Me Suot (Hoa Khanh Nam ward, Lien Chieu district, Da Nang) was heavily flooded. People had to evacuate from 4am on November 5.

The heavy rain on the night of November 4 and this morning (November 5) continued to cause localized flooding in many places in Da Nang. Especially in the "flood center" area of Me Suot Street and Hoang Van Thai Street (Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City), floodwaters continued to rise, reaching nearly 2m deep. People in this area had to evacuate overnight to safe shelters.

Ms. Chau A - a resident of Me Suot Street, a teacher in Lien Chieu District - had to ask a colleague to take her place in class today because her house was flooded since dawn.

Ms. A had to move from 4am to avoid the worst case scenario like the rains last year.

"The family has two grown sons so they evacuated earlier. Now our house is flooded up to our chest," said Ms. A.

Previously, Da Nang City continuously reported unusual rain and floods, so people in Me Suot area raised their refrigerators, televisions, etc. However, the water level kept rising, making evacuation difficult. Currently, functional forces and soldiers have been mobilized to this area.
