Da Nang - On November 4, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense announced the strengthening cold air and flood warning.

According to the Central Central Region Hydrometeorological Station, a cold air mass from the North is currently moving south. It is forecasted that from tonight and tomorrow (November 5), this cold air mass will affect Da Nang City.

Due to the influence of the cold air combined with the East wind disturbance, from November 4 to 8, the city is likely to have moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain and thunderstorms. There is a risk of flooding in low-lying areas along rivers, flooding in urban areas, flash floods, and landslides on the slopes of mountainous areas of Da Nang City.

To proactively respond to natural disasters, the City's Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense requests departments, branches, People's Committees of districts and units to strictly implement the official dispatch of the Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee on proactively responding to heavy rain in the coming time.
