Dien Bien bans roads for the 2025 Northwest Guardess Festival

Dien Bien - The Provincial Police announced a road closure and traffic diversion for 3 days to serve the Northwest - Dien Bien quintessence Festival in 2025.

On September 17, Dien Bien Provincial Police said that the road closure time will be applied to the preliminary and final rehearsals and the official program of the "Quintessence of the Northwest Flower Street Festival".

The road closure time includes: preliminary inspection from 16:00 to 18:00, September 17; general inspection from 16:00 to 18:00, September8; official program from 7:45 p.m. on September 20 until the end.

Dien Bien Provincial Police noted that the road closure time may be adjusted depending on the actual situation of the program.

During the preliminary and final inspection period, all vehicles (except priority vehicles and vehicles with the Organizing Committee's badge) will be prohibited from moving on the left side of Vo Nguyen Giap Street (from the Monument roundabout intersection to the intersection with Be Van Dan Street, next to Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu Hotel).

For the official program on the evening of September 20, all vehicles (except priority vehicles and vehicles with the Organizing Committee's badge) are prohibited from entering Vo Nguyen Giap Street, from the intersection with Tran Dang Ninh Street (the Monument roundabout) to the intersection with Be Van Dan Street.

To ensure people's travel, the Provincial Police have announced alternative routes.

During the preliminary and final approval period, vehicles with more than 9 seats and trucks with a capacity of 2.5 tons or more traveling from Tay Trang to Hanoi will follow the route: National Highway 279 - Vo Nguyen Giap Street - A1 Intersection - Hoang Van Thai Street - Truong Chinh Street - Vo Nguyen Giap Street - National Highway 279.

Vehicles from Tay Trang to Lai Chau and vice versa will follow the route: Vo Nguyen Giap Street - A1 Intersection - Pham Van Dong Street - Nguyen Huu Tho Street - Hoang Anh - Lai Chau Street.

In the official program (evening of September 20), vehicles with more than 9 seats and trucks with a capacity of 2.5 tons or more from Tay Trang to Hanoi and vice versa will travel according to the route: National Highway 279 - Vo Nguyen Giap Street - A1 Intersection - Hoang Van Thai Street - Truong Chinh Street - Vo Nguyen Giap Street - National Highway 279.

Vehicles with more than 9 seats and trucks with a capacity of 2.5 tons or more from Hanoi to Lai Chau and vice versa will follow the route: National Highway 279 - Vo Nguyen Giap Street - New Road Intersection - Truong Chinh Street - Hoang Van Thai Street - Pham Van Dong Street - Nguyen Huu Tho Street - Hoang Anh Street - National Highway 12.

Other vehicles from Tay Trang to Lai Chau and vice versa will travel along the route: Vo Nguyen Giap Street - A1 intersection - Pham Van Dong Street - Nguyen Huu Tho Street - Hoang Anh - Lai Chau Street.

People's and tourist vehicles will park in areas such as: Dien Bien Phu High School yard; Provincial Children's Cultural Palace yard; Him Lam Plaza Shopping Center yard; Tam Do Supermarket yard; Truc An Guest House yard; internal roads in Vincom area and roads without signs prohibiting stopping and parking.
