The summary conference of the emulation cluster of 7 northern border mountainous provinces (Cao Bang, Lai Chau, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Son La, Lang Son) just took place in Cao Bang.
The results of scoring and evaluating Dien Bien province as the leading emulation cluster in 2025 continue to affirm its role as a bright spot in organizing patriotic emulation movements.
According to the assessment report, in 2025, patriotic emulation movements were widely deployed by the provinces in the cluster, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; while closely following the key tasks and breakthroughs of each locality.
The total budget revenue of the provinces in the cluster all reached and exceeded the plan; many localities maintained a fairly good growth rate; infrastructure continued to be concerned with investment; the cultural and social field had many positive changes.
Speaking to direct the conference, Mr. Pham Duc Toan - Deputy Head of the Central Emulation and Commendation Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved in emulation and commendation work of the emulation cluster of northern mountainous provinces in 2025.
At the same time, he emphasized that 2026 is an important year, opening the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress. In the coming time, he requested localities to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's guidelines, the direction of General Secretary To Lam and the emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister.
At the conference, the organizing committee reported on the results of scoring, evaluating, and honoring emulation titles in 2025. The evaluation process was carried out seriously, democratically, publicly, transparently, ensuring compliance with regulations and accurately reflecting the actual results of task implementation of each locality.
As a result, Dien Bien province reached 947.35 points, ranking first in the whole cluster; followed by Cao Bang reaching 945 points; Lao Cai reaching 939.5 points; Lai Chau reaching 934.7 points; Lang Son reaching 933 points; Tuyen Quang about 932 points and Son La reaching 904 points.
Based on the scoring results and democratic discussions, the conference unanimously respected Dien Bien province and proposed to the Prime Minister to award a Certificate of Merit.
