Recently, Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong signed Decision No. 414 approving the investment policy for the project to build training and exercise facilities in the province.
This group C project has a total estimated investment of 31.768 billion VND, from the local budget contingency capital in 2026 managed by the province.
According to the plan, the project will be implemented in 2026, in Thanh Yen commune.
The investment in building training and exercise facilities in Dien Bien province is to meet the requirements and tasks of training and exercises at the provincial and regional levels.
Serving the training of reserve forces, national defense and security education; ensuring training and drill conditions for units of Military Region 2 and units stationed in the area.
The overall ground plan is about 9 hectares, including areas: Sa bàn, Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Military Command, Border Guard Command, Provincial Police (semi-insonous houses, brick walls, columns combined with shaped steel trusses, lean-to roofs covered with camouflage corrugated iron) and other auxiliary items.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Military Command to be responsible for presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies and units to complete the next dossiers and procedures of the project.
