On March 22, Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to unify the plan for arranging the organizational structure, personnel and assigning and receiving finance and assets of Provincial and Commune-level Project Management Boards.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong requested the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to urgently implement key tasks.
In which, regarding the organizational structure and staffing, the operation of 5 regional PMBs will be terminated. At the same time, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center will be established soon on the basis of reorganizing the Boards; 7 Project Management Boards and Land Fund Development Boards at commune and ward levels will be established.
Regarding assets, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested to review the plan for arranging working headquarters. Inventory and arrangement of attached assets such as equipment and assets belonging to common facilities, ensuring effective management and use.
Regarding finance, based on the general synthesis of 5 Boards, assigning the Department of Finance to preside over advising on handling plans, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Regarding the projects, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that transitional projects should be included in the medium-term public investment plan for the next phase. At the same time, complete the investment policy and prepare complete dossiers and contents for handover according to regulations.
Project Management Boards focus on classifying and reviewing all dossiers for both completed and ongoing projects. Deadline for completing the content before April 15. For transitional projects, especially school projects, priority must be given to completion and handover before April 1.
