According to information from the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), Gia Lam District Police and Gia Lam District People's Procuracy are investigating a traffic accident that killed 2 people and injured 4 others on Y Lan Street (Dang Xa Commune, Gia Lam District, Hanoi).
According to initial investigation, at around 8:35 p.m. on November 9, Dang Xa Commune Police received a report of a traffic accident between motorbikes with license plates 29AB- 413.XX, 29N1- XX747 and 29AH-051.XX.
At that time, Mr. N.S.H (18 years old) and Mr. N.D.T (14 years old), both residing in Gia Lam district, Hanoi (driver unknown), were riding a motorbike with license plate 29AB- 413.XX from Doc Loi towards Sui intersection when they collided with a motorbike with license plate 29N1- XX747 going in the opposite direction, on the motorbike were Mr. N.T.C (16 years old) and Mr. N.Q.C (15 years old), both residing in Gia Lam district, Hanoi (driver unknown).
After the collision, motorbike with license plate 29N1-XX747 fell onto the road and continued to collide with motorbike with license plate 29AH-051.XX driven by Mr. N.H.D (16 years old) (from Doc Loi to Sui intersection), carrying behind Mr. V.V.T (16 years old), both of whom have permanent residence in Gia Lam district, Hanoi.
As a result, Mr. N.S.H and N.T.C died on the spot, N.D.T and N.Q.C were injured and taken to Viet Duc Hospital for emergency treatment, N.H.D and V.V.T were slightly injured. 3 motorbikes were severely damaged, of which motorbike with license plate 29N1- XX747 was burned.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
