On March 8, according to Lao Dong's source, the People's Committee of Lang Son province officially approved the local adjustment of the central axis zoning plan of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone, at a scale of 1/2000.
Accordingly, the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone is an important trade point between Vietnam and China, playing a strategic role in import-export of goods. This adjustment of planning aims to meet practical development needs, improve infrastructure and optimize land funds to serve sustainable development goals.
According to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee, the planning adjustment focuses on two key areas of Cao Loc district, including Thuy Hung commune (Area 1) and Yen Trach commune (Area 2).
Area 1, Thuy Hung commune, Cao Loc district, adjusted area 1 ha. A part of agricultural land (0.4 ha) is converted into relic and religious land; supplemented with green land for public use (0.07 ha); adjusted the area of the existing housing group, updated to increase by 0.21 ha and improved the internal traffic system to suit the urban development orientation.
Area 2, Yen Trach commune, Cao Loc district, adjusted area of 14.12 ha. Converting public land, commercial services and development reserve land into technical infrastructure land (3.65 ha) and new residential land (0.54 ha); adjusting agricultural, forestry and residential land to technical infrastructure land (4.9 ha).
Along with that, security land planning (2.07 ha) on unit construction land and forestry land; updating and adjusting the current stream to optimize land use area.
In addition to adjusting land use, the planning also updates the direction of National Highway 1A, Huu Nghi - Dong Dang Expressway and intersections connecting to the cargo transit area.
Adjusting the central axis planning of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone not only improves land use efficiency but also contributes to the development of synchronous infrastructure, attracting investment and improving the living environment.
The local government affirmed that it will continue to closely monitor the implementation process, ensuring implementation in accordance with the plan, avoiding landscape disruption and affecting people's lives.
