At noon on November 27, the Traffic Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police said it was temporarily detaining a 7-seat car to serve the investigation of non-compliance with orders and resistance against forces on duty. The police also suspect that this vehicle used a fake license plate and are verifying the owner and driver at the time of the incident.
According to initial information, at around 8:39 a.m. on November 23, the traffic police team was on patrol and control duty on Provincial Road 816, passing through Binh Duc commune, when they discovered a 7-seat car speeding, they signaled to stop the vehicle for inspection. However, the driver did not comply and drove away.
During the chase, the driver repeatedly drove the motorbike and pressured the traffic police special motorbike. When stopped, this person still did not cooperate, continuing to drive the car into a special motorbike, causing the vehicle to fall onto the road. Traffic police officers promptly avoided the vehicle and continued to ask the driver to stop, but the subject continued to accelerate and run away.
After being chased fiercely, the driver drove the car into a deserted road, then left the scene and left the car behind. The entire incident, including the act of running away, forcing the car and hooking a traffic police car, was recorded by a security camera on the route.
The case is currently being further investigated by Tay Ninh Provincial Police, searching for the driver to handle according to regulations.
