On December 23, the An Khanh Ward Police force coordinated with professional units under the Ho Chi Minh City Police to block off the scene and conduct necessary examinations to investigate the cause of death of a male body that had just been discovered in the Saigon River.
The incident started at around 6:30 a.m. the same day, when some people were traveling by boat on the Saigon River, passing through An Khanh Ward and about 500 meters from the Saigon Bridge, they suddenly discovered the body of a man floating on the water surface, so they immediately reported it to the local police.

Immediately after receiving the report, An Khanh Ward Police and professional units of Ho Chi Minh City Police quickly arrived at the scene to record the incident and conduct the investigation.
According to initial records from the authorities, the male victim was between the ages of 45 and 50.
At the time of discovery, the body was wearing a gray short-sleeved T-shirt and black shorts with a pink strip on the side.
Currently, the police are verifying the victim's identity as well as clarifying related details to determine the cause of the incident.
