On the morning of December 22, the authorities coordinated with the people to find the body of Mr. T.X.A (born in 1961, residing in Son My commune, Lam Dong province) after more than half a day of being missing at sea.
Previously, on the morning of December 21, Mr. A and his wife brought a net to the sea area of Son My commune to fish. At noon of the same day, the wife returned first, while Mr. A stayed behind to continue casting nets.
In the evening, when he did not return from the husband, the wife and local people organized a search.
During the search, people discovered Mr. A's hat and net drifting ashore. Suspecting that Mr. A was swept away by the waves and gone missing, the local authorities mobilized forces to coordinate the search along the coast and at sea all night but to no avail.
On the morning of December 22, Mr. A's body was discovered in the coastal area of Binh Chau (Ho Chi Minh City), far from the location of the initial suspected accident.
After the discovery, the victim's body was taken to the locality and handed over to the family for funeral arrangements. Mr. T.X.A is Head of the Front Work Committee of Thang Hai village, Son My commune. The local government visited, encouraged the family and coordinated to support related procedures according to regulations.
