Lam Dong - While a mother and daughter were cleaning a newly rented house, suddenly the floor on the mezzanine collapsed, causing both of them to fall down.

At noon on March 1st, a floor collapse occurred in a house on Truong Van Ly street, Tien Thanh ward, Lam Dong province, causing 2 mothers and children to be seriously injured.

According to initial information, in the morning of the same day, the mother and daughter came to clean up the newly rented house to prepare to live in.

During the process of cleaning up belongings on the mezzanine, the concrete slab suddenly collapsed. Both people fell from above to the ground floor.

Records at the scene show that the railing is designed with horizontal iron platforms to withstand force. Concrete panels are placed horizontally on this iron platform frame to make the floor.

When the incident occurred, the concrete blocks fell to the floor and shattered.

The floor collapse seriously injured the mother and child. Among them, the child was in a coma, and the mother suffered multiple injuries.

People around supported and called an ambulance to take the victims to a medical facility for emergency treatment.
