The whole province recorded more than 42,000 damaged houses. The electricity industry recorded 1,151 power poles broken, the whole province had a widespread power outage. The telecommunications system was also severely affected, many BTS stations were completely without signal.
167 schools had their roofs blown off and were severely damaged. The health sector has 12 damaged facilities, many of which cannot operate. 987 hectares of crops, 158 hectares of seafood were flooded, more than 20 tons of cage fish in Ky Hoa commune died.
In Vung Ang Economic Zone, many factories and warehouses had their roofs blown off and were severely damaged. Viet Lao Port alone had 4 conveyor belts collapsed, the roof of 12,000m2 of the cargo warehouse was blown off.
Immediately after the storm, on September 29, the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee directed the entire political system of the province to focus on overcoming the consequences of storm No. 10.
