According to records, National Highway 1 through Trang Bom district experienced a long traffic jam from the toll station (Trang Bom district), through Trang Bom town to the intersection between National Highway 1 and Bien Hoa City bypass ( Vo Nguyen Giap street).

The traffic jam length is about 10km, in the direction of Trang Bom - Bien Hoa City. However, in the opposite direction, it is quite airy.
People said that after the death anniversary of Hung Vuong's death anniversary 2025, the flow of people and cars from the central and Central Highlands provinces such as Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan), Nha Trang, Da Lat (Lam Dong) ... continued to rush to the National Highway 1, causing this road to be congested for a long congestion. According to the record from 19pm to about 21h, it is still congested for a long time. From the junction between Highway 1, the vehicles followed the bypass of Bien Hoa City to the junction of Vung Tau to return to Ho Chi Minh City.
A driver shared that because he was afraid of traffic jams after the holidays, he and his family returned to Ho Chi Minh City from Binh Thuan early, but had not yet returned home but still participated in the traffic jam on National Highway 1, through Trang Bom.
According to records, by around 9pm on April 7, the prolonged congestion had not cooled down, many sections were jammed.

To escape the traffic jam on National Highway 1, many vehicles rushed onto the national highway parallel routes and inner-city routes inside Trang Bom town, Trang Bom district. However, these routes are also very crowded with vehicles, causing traffic chaos.

Previously, from the afternoon of April 7, a series of car accidents occurred on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway (Cam My District section). In addition, due to the overload of expressways such as Phan Thiet - Dau Giay, Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, the authorities had to open and close continuously to regulate traffic, reducing the load on expressways, forcing many vehicles to change their routes, going towards National Highway 1 to Ho Chi Minh City.
However, National Highway 1 is also overloaded and congested for a long time.
