Complete changes on the electronic operations operating system
After officially operating the urban government model of the city from April 30, Dong Nai city has 95 communes and wards. According to the Department of Home Affairs, 10 newly established wards have reorganized "Economic Department" into "Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department" and compiled a list of villages and hamlets converted into neighborhoods; the remaining 85 commune-level administrative units remain in the same state; currently, tasks such as: Converting seals, changing new signboards according to the names of wards and Dong Nai city... have been implemented.
For the field of land and urban infrastructure, it will edit cadastral maps, change the names of administrative units on cadastral maps and coordinate the construction of administrative maps of Dong Nai city to serve state management after conversion.
From April 30 to May 2, Dong Nai completed information changes on users' devices of the electronic operations operating system, digital signatures, digital certificates, administrative procedure information system, specialized database, ensuring that the urban government apparatus operates synchronously, smoothly, and effectively from the first day of operation.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ut - Chairman of Dong Nai City People's Committee - said that with the preparation from the past to now and the drastic involvement of the entire political system, the operation of the Dong Nai city model will be smooth and most effective.
Focus on upgrading infrastructure, developing modern urban areas
Regarding the development orientation of Dong Nai city in the coming time, Standing Vice Chairman of Dong Nai City People's Committee Nguyen Kim Long said that overall, Dong Nai will focus on major task groups such as: Upgrading infrastructure, developing modern urban areas and creating new growth momentum.
In which, regarding urban planning and management, the city will prioritize renovating and embellishing existing urban areas in a more civilized and modern direction while still preserving the cultural and historical identity and characteristic values of Dong Nai land; promote the development of new urban areas, riverside urban areas, modern urban spaces; form a synchronous urban chain in terms of both technical infrastructure and cultural and social infrastructure.
The city will pay attention to the TOD model, compressed development, mixed development; forming dynamic spaces associated with major traffic hubs, stations, and important connecting axes.
In addition, prioritize attracting and developing high-value-added sectors with large spillover effects such as high technology, supporting industries, logistics, airport services, modern trade, digital economy and innovation.
Another very important content is environmental protection and building a green, safe, and sustainable living environment. Dong Nai City will strengthen resource management, control pollution, develop green cities, treat waste effectively, and better adapt to climate change.
Prof. Dr. Vo Xuan Vinh - Director of the Institute of Business Research (Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics) - expects Dong Nai to soon become a commercial - service - logistics city; Mr. Dang Van Diem - Chairman of the Dong Nai Business Federation - said that the business community in the area expects Dong Nai city to have more favorable mechanisms and policies, invest strong resources to develop the team of local entrepreneurs and businesses.
