On December 4, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province sent a document to the Directors of the Departments of Finance, Construction, Agriculture and Environment; Director of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and Chairman of the People's Committees of Tran Bien and Bien Hoa wards regarding investment in routes connecting Dong Nai province with Ho Chi Minh City.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to implement procedures to prepare for investment in transport projects connecting Dong Nai province and Ho Chi Minh City (old Binh Duong area). Organize the preparation of investment policy proposal documents (pre-feasibility study report or investment policy proposal report) for the D21 road project, D30 road, Pham Van Dieu street and Xom La bridge. The capital source for implementation is from the provincial budget.
The Department of Construction shall preside over and guide relevant localities to carry out procedures for adjusting and updating construction planning related to the projects of D21 road, D30 road, Pham Van Dieu street and Xom La bridge.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over and guide localities where projects pass through to carry out procedures related to updating, adjusting land use planning and reclaiming land for project implementation.
The Department of Finance reviews and balances to advise the Provincial People's Committee to report to competent authorities to arrange capital to implement the project when meeting the conditions for documents and capital sources.
Previously, the People's Council of Dong Nai province also passed resolutions to assign the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee as the competent authority to implement the Phu My 2 bridge construction investment project; Assign the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee as the competent authority to implement the Cat Lai bridge construction investment projects and the Long Hung bridge construction investment project (Dong Nai 2 bridge) to connect the two localities.
