On May 30, Chairman of Dong Nai City People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut surveyed the actual progress of compensation and support for the Ring Road 4 Project in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the City Land Fund Development Center, the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project section passing through Dong Nai has a route length of more than 46 km, with a land recovery scale of more than 302 ha in 9 communes and wards.
Up to now, regarding the issuance of land recovery notices, functional agencies have issued notices for the entire area, reaching 100%. Investigation, survey, measurement, and inventory work have been completed for more than 98% of the land area to be recovered. The work of confirming the origin of land, assets attached to land and support policies, People's Committees of communes and wards have completed for nearly 88% of the area.
The entire project has now approved compensation and support plans for 834 households with an area of nearly 155 hectares, reaching more than 51% of the land area to be recovered.
Functional agencies are continuing to carry out inventory, confirm the origin of land and approve compensation and support plans for the remaining area. At the same time, coordinate to receive land handover and hand over land to the investor unit to deploy project construction.
Speaking at the survey, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut requested the locality to coordinate with the City Land Fund Development Center to focus on accelerating site clearance to start construction at the end of June 2026.
The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project is 159 km long, passing through Dong Nai city, Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh province. This is a route that plays the role of a strategic traffic axis connecting the Southeast region with the Southwest region and the Central Highlands.
