Investigation into the death of an 8th grade student in the schoolyard in Hai Phong

    Hai Phong - On the evening of December 11, a representative of the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district (Hai Phong) said that the police are investigating the death of an 8th grade female student.

    Speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen district said that the incident happened at around 12:15 p.m. the same day at Le Ich Moc Secondary School (Thuy Son commune, Thuy Nguyen district).

    At this time, the school discovered a female student injured in the corner of the school yard, near building B. The victim was identified as female student B.M.N (8A1 class student, Le Ich Moc Secondary School) who suffered a head injury due to impact and died.

    According to initial information, in the morning of the same day, N still went to school. At noon of the same day, the incident happened. N is an excellent student in the class.

    Immediately after the incident, the police were present to examine the scene, perform an autopsy, and investigate the cause of the incident. Representatives of the Department of Education and Training, the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen District, and the district's functional agencies also coordinated to investigate the cause.

    The incident is continuing to be verified and clarified.
